Staxson Ltd are a Kent based Mechanical & Electrical Services, dedicated to delivering the best across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. They've just gone through the process of implementing TimeKeeper, so we checked in to see how they've found it.
Until recently, Staxson were using excel to track employees hours, leave and projects. Whilst this is an Excel-lent tool, it does come with flaws when used exclusively to record time and attendance. There's manual input needed, opening up the risk of error. Hours are lost to the tasks of inputting and collating data in these spreadsheets ready for each payroll run. There are simpler and more time and cost effective ways to do this, and that's what companies like Staxson find in TimeKeeper.
Staxson told us they found TimeKeeper 'very simple process to set up'. Making the most of a providers free trial is really beneficial as you can get a feel for whether the system is a good fit for your business. It's also important, following set up, that those using the app primarily will be able to do so. 'TimeKeeper is extremely easy to use' according to Staxson. A clear, simple UI can help prevent pushback from users, with the aim being the new tool near seamlessly slots into their usual working routine.
All those hours lost to manual sheet administration each week have vanished. Staxon said that TimeKeeper has 'freed up office staff to do other things' - giving back ever so precious time. TimeKeeper enabled Staxson to 'keep a check on where the operatives are, to plan jobs more efficiently.' Thanks to the Jobs feature and in-depth reporting, 'time allocated to projects is easier to keep a check on'.
'Yes! TimeKeeper is easy to use and implement, and has benefitted the business overall.'
We're glad to have Staxson Ltd onboard!
